The Role of Action Research in Teachers’ Professional Development

چکیده
The challenges of contemporary education and teaching profession have resulted in an increased demand for the appropriate professional advancement practice-based research. action research is approach that encourages teachers to manage control their own work. This was conducted with purpose being primarily beneficial primary secondary school teachers. empirical presented this paper based on factor analysis, by which factors were extracted, as well examination teachers’ attitudes towards methodological education, cognition metacognition teaching, reflexive practice, science lifelong learning context method used descriptive together scaling technique five-level Likert scale (AISE) consisting 29 items. realized 2020, then retested 2021. number 1021 from Republic Serbia participated results showed statistically significant differences respondents’ responses related independent variables: cycle, experience development seminars attended. significance researches reflected fact problems are resolved themselves, not scholars or academics who directly involved teaching.
